I have a B1 Visa valid for 10 years. how frequently can I travel to U.S. for a periods of 3 months.?

I mean .. suppose I stay in US from Aug-Oct. and I come back in Nov. Now will I be able to go to us agian for 3 months, if so how early.. should there be any gap??

You would be refused entry. To be here for August, September and October, and then return in November of the same year, They will believe that you are trying to live and work here.

Those entering on visitor visas will generally be granted 6 months admission (the maximum allowable is one year) on entry.

It may be possible to obtain a six-month extension to the visit visa as long as the candidate will be maintaining visitor status, and there are good reasons to do so.

~While in the US as a business visitor, an individual may:

~Conduct Negotiations
~Solicit sales or investment
~Discuss planned investment or purchases.
~Make investments or purchases
~Attend Meetings, and participate in them fully.
~Interview and hire staff.
~Conduct research.

The following activities require a working visa, and may not be carried out by business visitors:

~Running a business.
~"Gainful employment".
~Payment by an organization within the US.
~Participating as a professional in entertainment or sporting events.

Your travel pattern into and out of the US will be available to the CBP officers at the ports of entry. At the (subjective) point that someone thinks that you are using a non-immigrant B1/B2 visa to essentially reside in the US, you will be denied further entry, your visa will likely be canceled, and it will be very difficult for you to receive any future visas.
