Question Details: it's one of Europe's most beautiful cities......top 10...at least...fantastic Art Collection......however,t... as well as a Latvian friend of mine he is much older than me he is 65..will go to St. Petersburg...but not Moscow......why????...The... love St Petersburg....but are not friendly toward Moscow....I've been to both and love both

St. Petersburg has always been the window to the west, while Moscow has often been in a bunker mentality. Underneath the beautiful trappings to be found in Moscow is a dark place best left alone.

Where am I?

I've been to St. Petersburg and really liked the city. Great underground system.
Haven't been to Moscow, but wolud like to.
