I have recived an Offerand Contract letter from Federal Medical Center they want me to payUS$1690 for visa.?

In this context I have been getting call from Mr Umar Dikku who claims to be the Ambassador.How do I go about it,is it a scam if not can i send the remittance thru the bank details provided.The whole thin is happening on e mail anly.A prompt guidance will be appreciated.

Fake! Fake! Fake! There is no Ambassador Umar Dikku from the United States. A US visa should not cost anywhere near that. Go to http://www.usembassy.gov and click on the web site of the US Embassy in your nation to find out the cost of a real visa to the US.

It is a BIG SCAM. Do not part with any of your personal and bank details.

It sounds like a scam to take your money and run. I would advise you to contact nearest U.S.Embassy or Consulate, inform them in detail in writing with a copy of that contract and ask them if they can help locate this person. By doing so, you will do a favour to protect others from such scam artist. I have heard Nigerians are very good at such scams. Be careful and do not send any money to them.
