I hope, in 2010 india will be a member in G8. what do you people think?

Actually, there is already a movement to create a stable G20 and to scrap the G8 altogether. Why include India without other economic heavies like Brazil, South Africa, or Saudi Arabia?

As for the Canada bashers, it just shows how little they actually know of world economics. The US economy would collapse withou the help of Candian resources to fuel it. We supply 65-75% of your total oil as it is and are on track to increase that with the oilsands projects. If Americans want to pay $10 a gallon, then by all means....we'd gladly sell our oil to China instead.

India will become a member, only if they agree to sell them self to the west and to open their border for them... Means, if they agree to become again a colony, as Israel is a US colony...
It surprises me, how selfless some Indian politicians are... not to sell them self to the west. They might be the last in the world of this caliber, they take a very big risk, even for their own life.
The punishment for the last "NO" from India to US, came recently in form of weapons sold to Pakistan. And bomb blasts... to strengthen the conflict between India and Pakistan.
That's the way it works... Why they need India to let them in? Milliard of people, dear. Potential consumers of their $hit, potential robots... if you program their lifestyle. The country itself is gold worth. The Population of west is decreasing, and the abilities of the people too. The west is in decline, the countries exhaust. Example ; Germany, in the next 15 years, more then 50% of the population will be over 60! Within 3-4 Generations, no Germans at all! And it is everywhere in the west same! Europe and big parts of US will face fatal changes due to clima change... For that only, those who has the power, and wants to keep it, need new countries, new people... with potential.
See what happened with great China after opening the borders... Micky Mouse Communism, see the countries who became opposition of West ... they are now Terrorists.
I hope India is strong enough to turn it's A$$ to West. India definitely does not need them, but they need India.

Umm...as a side note, Canada DOES do things. Ever heard of peacekeeping? Funny how Canada gets invovled alot, but there is no recongnition because the States are afraid someone might not give them full attention.

I think we need to boot some of the G8 members too (i.e., Canada and Italy). I mean, come on, does Canada really have any impact whatsoever in the international community? I think not. India and China should join soon.

I think both India and China should join in and some European countries should leave.

But as leaving is something that is highly impopular in international politics, the G8 will end as a GXXX. That way it will be an organisation full of soft and ineffective decisions because of all the compromises they need to come up with anything.

India and China should join soon to make it G10. However, I see Russia possibly falling out of the group....and cmon...Canada? They do nothing! I think India and China will join and hope Canada and maybe Russia get booted, but doubt the latter because that would cause international backlash. But yeah, India and China will join soon.
