I was born in Mexicali, Baja California Mex. in 47 but got my US citizenship through my father. In 1967 I received a US ID from the American Consulate here in Mexicali. Now they no long make them so I just pass the border saying US CITIZEN have been doing so for the past 43 years of have been living here in Mexicali and cross to Calexico, Ca. Where I use to work, took care of my parents till their death. Now that I need a US PASSPORT the American Consulate in Tijuana says I have to prove my dad's citizenship through my grandmother who was born in the 1880's and died in the 1950's. I never new her but I found out while searching Ancestry my dad's WW1 DRAFT REGISTRATION CARD OF 1918 where it has that my grandmother was in the STATE HOSPITAL PHOENIX, MARICOPA ARIZONA IN 1918. I called the hospital but all those records are long gone. Mr Wallace there told me to check with the VITAL RECORDS in PHOENIX to find her birth and death certificate. It's been 6 months and so far they have found out nothing yet. I'm am very worried because a custom officer said my ID from the American Consulate will not be accepted in January 2009. I don't know what to do next year I'll be able to get my social security check but in november on my 62nd birthday what will happen with the money I worked hard for my old age.??????
Please a friend told me Don Francisco knows a Lawyer that could inform me what to do. They say (US CUSTOM) "That it's a privilege to get a passport to cross the border". But I think "It's more an HONOR being a US CITIZEN and having a US passport to prove it:"I am 61 year old and I am fighting for my right's as a citizen which I believe to be. You have the necessary US ID issued by an embassy to prove your citizenship. Nothing is more acceptable than that. You have worked and paid taxes (I presume) through all those years. You have an ssn card. What else do they need? Get an immigration lawyer to help you out. |

Dear, Don Francisco I'am the aunt of my nice roxsanna.She just got married in March of 2011. She and her husband have been living in acuna mexico for about a one year. She has one dauther with him. The problem it that the immigration punish him for 3Years. Becuase of some drug used that he did when he was a teenager liveing in mexico. They are asking him to pay around 800 dollars for the punishment that they gave him. I really don't know what you call it. And that why i need your help. Because i would like to see my nice and family back to the United States . And if you can help and some way for her husband to come with her too. Ever since they punished him my sister all she does is worry about her dauther and grandkid liveing in mexico worrying about the criss and vilonce that is happing over there and the way she is living. She gotten to the point of worrying so much that is affecting her health and well being. The dotor has put her on meds for depression and stess also. Dear Sir Don Francisco,
I've been living in the U.S.A for 6 yrs. now. I've been together, With this loving woman in the U.S.A. and we have a soon to be 5 yrs. old beautiful son together.But because of the way the law is now a days we can not have a real legal marriage.So we had a cerimony together and are married under God only.
For the past 3 yrs. my mother in Mexico has been living in a poor poverity leveled life style.Her health has declined.And I've been worried for her well being.Her health has gotten very bad and sometimes goes 2-4 days without eatting. And can't afford to buy water. For you know the water in Mexico is not drinkable. She has no way of working cause she has poor vision problems cause it's hard for her cause of her age.And is hard to walk long miles to a job cause she can't hardly stand up straight.Half of the time my mother can't afford to pay the bills and rent to her home.She has in the past 4yrs. had to move to cheaper more run down homes to be able to have a shelter over her head.Reason for her continious moving is because of not being able to pay the landlords rent and keeps getting evected.I'm a 33 yrs. old man. And I've been trying for yrs. to help my poor dearest mother with her money expenses and bills. But Cause I can't work it is very hard for me to do this for her.And my mother sometimes calls me crying to me that she feels she is going to die.And so I really don't know what to do.After all you know medical isn't free in Mexico. And it's so different than Medical care in U.S.A. So if you can help me PLEASE!!!!!! to see my mother one more time in my life before she dies. My mother Elena Alverez' is 63 yrs. of age and with her hard life style looks like a 70 YRS. PLUS AGE WOMAN. You would make me and my mothers dreams come true.To maybe see my mother one more time on your show one day before she dies.And for her to maybe meet her never seen Grandson and woman I love so very much.
