I need help!! my mexican passport was expire?

i just found out my Mexican passport was expire on last month, but i just bought a ticket for Cancun vacation on June 17. What can i do? i got my green card last year, but have a different last name .Because i married to a American.so now the green card last name and the expire Mexican passport last name is not match. What can i do? or if i go to the Mexico embassy what i need to bring? please help me please reply me ASAP thnQ.....

You will need to go to the Mexican Consulate and renew your passport.They will give you your passport on the same day. Hopefully there is one near you, the only problem is you HAVE to schedule an appointment and JUNE 17 is very close.

You might have to reschedule your flight.

You do not need the passport to return to the U.S. The green card is sufficient to return to the U.S. If the Mexican government does not demand a valid passport, then you will not need a valid Mexican passport to enter Mexico.

The U.S. does not demand a passport from returning residents. Mexico probably doesn't demand a passport for its citizens. You may not need a passport to complete your trip successfully.
