i applied for my wife to come here around November 2007, processing dates the site show are kind of weird. any idea how long it takes, guys who tried it, do you know?

Assuming you're an American, it takes the Service Centers about a year to actually process and approve the petition. Then it goes to the National Visa Center which takes another 6 months to process it and then schedule an immigrant visa interview with one of the embassies overseas. If you're a green card holder, then it takes about 5 years, all in all. |
