I need help with passport on Islamabad of British embassy for spouse visa?

I applied for my wife spouse visa in Islamabad of British embassy, its been 2 months now and they have called me in UK to confirm me and a week later my wife received a call from British Embassy in Islamabad, they said come and pick your passport, does it means she got the visa and needs to pick her passport also...
Does anybody als had same situation...
Please help me

I'm not and have never been in your situation, I would imagine even a standard letter would include the information if the visa was granted or not.
Under new UK regulations spouses will have to pass an English language test, which also is retrospective from what I have read.
I would suggest mail them or call them - from the numbers & contact details on the official site, if the details given in the phone call you received match up then excellent.
If you don't mind me asking why didn't you ask when you were talking to them?
It would have been the 1st question I would have asked in your situation.
Edit The British government love sending letters I can't believe visa applications would ever be given on just phone calls I'm afraid. I know that does not happen in the UK.
Edit2 I suggest you obviously do know more than me! but I was the only one to care enough to give a small bit of advice.
There are so many immigration scams, please what ever you do, don't get caught by a scam. |
