I want to book an appointment with the italian embassy lagos for a visa.?

I have my invitation letter to italy and an internet appointment which says i can present my invitation letter at the embassy any day between monday and friday from 8am. I have tried severally to enter into the consulate's office to present my invitation letter but to no avail. Those at the gate would not allow me in. I am becoming frustrated as I do not know what to do . Please advise me before my invitation letter expires. Thanks.

You have to call the embassy to make an appointment. Without appointment the guards won't let you in. The telephone number of the embassy you can find in your local telephone directory or on the homebage of the embassy
