You were born under UDI, before independence in 1980.
If either of your parents were born in the UK, you are already a British Citizen.
Otherwise you are a British Subject. If you do not have any other citizenship or nationality (or renounced it before 2002), or have lived in the UK for 5 years, you can register as a British Citizen.
