Its a voluntary program. Extremely hard to conduct life without a SSN. You'll be living like a 2nd class immigrant not a U.S citizen. Everyone was forced into this pyramid scheme by FDR.

Is isn't just a right but a necessity because you need a SSN in order to get a job!

Absolutely. I had to fill out the forms for my child hours after her birth! You don't have to have one, but try getting a job, bank account, credit or anything else without one!
