Depending on where you attend school, it would probably run, for school, for you, alone, $50,000. - $100,000. alone. You would also have to pay for your children's schooling on your own. This would be cash in your bank account or other assets you have in your name.

None of your family would be able to work.

Sure you can! F2 visas may be issued for them. Here read up on it.

If you are on F1, with the proof of your status, your wife and children can apply F2 visa at US Embassy.
