i was born in thailand and lived there for 10 years but now i have became a u.s. citizen and i am 18 right now, do i still have to serve the military service for 2 years in thailand since im a citizen here?
ill probably gonna call the thai embassy sometime this week to know everything about this for sure. but please share your knowledge about my problems

I can't find any information specifically for Thailand, but generally speaking if you are still a citizen of a country which requires military service BUT you have not lived in that country for some time, you can obtain an exemption. If you renounced your Thai citizenship on gaining US citizenship then of course you are not required to serve. |

I don't think the American government going to like American citizen to serve foreign country military. When you become American citizen, you made an oath to this country.
I would seriously get some counseling from the American side. |

yes, you still have to do the service, that is since you have dual nationality;
at 18 volontary, 6 to 18 months, at 21 :24 months
