If my visa application to one country is rejected , will it affect my future application to other countries?

don't depend on this yes or no..

try and apply again.. wherever you wish to go..
then you would get the real anwer... different countries has different requirements and system... only the officials can decide if your visa would be approved or not..because if you got visa denied in one country..you could apply again,,does not mean you got rejected you could never apply again... even on the same country that rejected your visa...you could ask what made their decicions to deny your visa... and then work on it...
good day!

Short answer is no, since the consulates for each country you are trying to get a visa for do not share the information. That would require collaboration between the governments of those countries (which costs money which is reason enough fo most countries to not collaborate)

However, the underlying reason for being denied a visa to one country might cause you to get rejected when applying to other countries.

Actually, the answer is yes. Without going into details, I can assure you that rejection in one country can definitely affect visa applications submitted to other countries.

it depends on which country u have been rejected by and also the reason but in most cases it does not happen but and unless u have ur name on some kind of security list for example the inter pole... don worry just go head with ur plans u will succeed mate.

It depends on the country that rejected your application and the country you are applying to and the reason for rejection.

For example, the United Kingdom reject your visa application because you lied on your application form and provided false documentation. If you then applied for an Australian visa then your previous rejection would definitely cause a problem.

No, because every country has its own immigration requirements.
