They shouldn't be there in the first place, but if they pull out now, they should offer refuge/relocation to the Iraqis who have helped them. They can't just abandon these people to their fate. |

Absofrigginlutely. I say give the Kurds in the north what it is going to take to sustain them and let the rest of the country self implode.
I supported our reason to go into Iraq. I still believe we were justified. I just have no respect for a country or a people that can take the most priceless gift of freedom from tyranny that was handed to them and spit back in our faces and on our "freedom fighters". Bring our men and women home, fortify our own border, buy one way tickets to either France or the MiddleEast for the Americans that worked with the terrorists and those countries who wanted to destroy what America stands for and tell the rest of the world to take flying leap.

Unfortunately, the the leaders of this great Nation, moreso than I, KNOW that we can't just leave the fate of the world to the other "super powers" and feel confident that they will do what is in the best interest of our planet and do the right thing for all concerned, because they won't. Sure would be nice though!! |
