i live in the uae....i suffer here parental abuse.....and apparently no one has a problem with that because the law here approves of such behaviour....

Do you have your passport? That would have your original visa in it, and evidence of when you arrived. without your original passport, immigration would have lots of questions if you tried to leave. Even so, in the UAE, it's possible for a father to put a block with immigration on departure of female family members, so it may still not be possible for you to leave. Where would you go if you did leave, how would you support yourself? You should try to call the Canadian embassy and talk to them about these things, but it will be difficult at best. |

You should go to the embassy and ask. But it's entirely possible that they won't be able to help until you turn 18. |

Based on your literary prose, I find it hard to believe you are what you say. If you are the subject of abuse, tell your teacher and or guidence councilor. We do not codone child abuse in this country. |

Not likely. If the local authorities are not willing to remove you, the Canadian embassy is not going to kidnap you from your parents and send you to live as a minor by yourself.
Your mom saying "no, you can't go to the mall" is not abuse. |

possibly. but only if you are over the age of emanicpation and in canada that is 16. you could buy a ticket and leave as you are canadian. question is where were you born? if you were born in canada you have a much better chance.
i would contact the canadian media as well at www.thestar.com and www.canada.com and www.ctv.ca
it is why canada and the us and other western states frown on american born women from ever entering those nations as once you are there you have no legal rights as we do in the west. |
