Indian passport--> naming convention?

I am about to apply for my passport in recent times
My certificate name is KAUSTAB SEN SARKAR .
But while filling the form, i want to address my surname as --> SENSARKAR ,and given name as --> KAUSTAB.
As you can see ,i have concatenated the middle name SEN with
SARKAR, is there any possibilties that my application form will be accepted? If not , why ???

The application would be kept on hold due to mismatch of supporting documents. What you can do is apply in Gazette for the change of name. Once your name change is done. (This would take few months.) you can then apply for the passport with the new name. Then it would be accpeted.

they look into the proofs you have provided like degree and all for name info. now this may and may not pass.
per the instruction on the form it advises you to have ur name in sync with the name , age, school, degree proofs you submit.
if you are lucky it might be accepted. why not speak to any of the the dozens of the agents swarming the passport offices. they might be able to clarify. |
