Invitation letter for the embassy?

Hello! I need to make an invitation latter for a non-US citizen. He needs it to provide to the US Embassy staff while applying for a visa. What form should I fill in?

Well basically, you will write that you are inviting him to visit you (reason) for the duration (from date - date) and add anything else. It is just a basic letter no form required.

I would like to say though, that while it is nice to have an invitation letter, it will NOT help the applicant have a better chance of getting approved. Sometimes, it will be a cause for denial. How? Especially if the person inviting is the fiance(e) of the applicant. They will look at this as circumventing the K-1 visa process.

Invitation letter are not required for visa requests ....for the simple reeason its easy for anybody to fake
You can send the intending visitor a personal letter saying you are looking forward to their visit

The visitor must apply at the consulate ..and prove to the consulate he can affod the trip and has responsibilties he must return for

If the country is heavy in fraud ..the chances are slim to none

there is no specific form for you to fill out as there is no legal requirement for an invitation letter. It's very hard to say if it will be given any real weight even if you do send one. however, write whatever you feel, send it to your friend to take to the embassy, and hope for the best.
