Irish passport application fee question?

It costs $112 to get an Irish passport. "An additional $17 postage fee MUST be included with the passport fee for the return of the passport via express mail."

So do I need to make out two separate checks? Or just one big one for $129?

They don't tolerate mistakes, so I just want to make sure I send it in correctly. Thanks in advance!!

when they don't tolerate mistakes, as you said, I would enter the correct fee in your one check (if they would want seperate ones for the postage they would have told on their website).

Passport fee — $117
express mail — $17
total on check = $134

The Consulate currently accepts payments for passports in the form of money order, certified bank check/draft .

Please make certified checks, drafts and money orders payable to ‘Consulate General of Ireland’. All payments should be in the exact dollar amount.

Please note personal checks are not accepted.

when i applied for a passport, i wrote only one check.
it does say # postage must be included # so?one check only;
for? it might get lost and separated, if you wrote 2 checks;
