Irish passport/citizenship?

Ive been living in northern ireland for the last 5 years and im just looking to know if that would make me eligible for an irish passport? or does it only make me eligible for the british one?

Nothern Ireland is part of the UK so how you apply for an Irish citizenship? Unless you were born in Nothern Ireland you could apply for Irish citizenship. But if your from outside the UK and just living in Northern Ireland you can't get Irish citizenship. People in Northern Ireland can get two passports UK and Irish one. But you need your birth certificate to prove that you where born there. But if your from Brazil having seen your previous question. No you won't get Irish citizenship. Try the UK for British one. People from Northern Ireland have to cross the border and go to Dublin to get an Irish passport. Northern Ireland doesn't issue Irish passport only British passport. To get Irish passport you need document to prove that you were living in the Republic of Ireland issue by the Department of Justice in Dublin, Irish visa etc permit
