Is Obama a legal US citizen. Yes absolutely. No one has ever disputed that he is currently a legal US citizen. The question that has pre-occupied the internet lately is the question of whether or not he is a "natural born citizen" which is not entirely clearly defined in the constitution, but which we generally take to mean "not a naturalized citizen."

Recently the Secretary of State of Hawaii has certified Obama's birth certificate, and a news clipping was even found from an Honolulu newspaper announcing the birth of Barack H. Obama II in 1961.

At the time Hawaii was officially a state in the United States, so he was born on US soil to a US citizen. Seems like a pretty open and shut case.

The internet is a place where conspiracy theories can go crazy. We have to remember that most of the time, the simplest answer is the correct one.

There are no parallels between Hitler and Obama, and you're a prime example of Goodwin's Law by attempting to draw them. Furthermore, the Obama citizenship case was thrown out today, so I would stop screaming that he's not a citizen, if I was you and wanted to maintain a semblance of intelligence.

There is another case that the Supreme Court will look at on December 12th. It is called WROTNOWSKI v. BYSIEWICZ. This has nothing to do with a birth certificate. Instead it has to do with his father not being a U.S. citizen. This is not the Donofrio case that was rejected a few days back. You can get a good explanation of the arguments here:

he was born in the US, carries a US passport, has entered and left the US many times on said passport, and was elected to offices and made use of benefits that require citizenship....

or,

there was a vast left wing conspiracy since his birth to enable him to do each and every thing that has happened throughout his life and no person or body at any point at any time that wasn't part of the conspiracy every noticed or raised a word or did anything until he was at the point of becoming US president

I believe that Obama is an American Citizen.

of course he is not eligible to serve as president. his mom did not meet the time-limit requirement. he would have known this all along. nor will you see any correct changes made. now we all can get back to focusing more attention on the toxic and deadly oil spill and aftermath, endless wars, 2012 gloom and doom predictions - meant to throw you off, and escalating prices (not by chance), yet no more COLA's. Come to think of it, the same ones who snagged our 401 k's in 2008 also snagged the 2010 and 2011 COLA's. now that is something important to talk about.
