Is a visa needed help?

if for example i wanted to go on holiday to say india i am a british Citizen and i have 2 children aged 1 and 2 i know i would need a visa to enter would my children need a visa aswell or is it included in mine or not

You say for example, and I answer there is no general answer.

For India you would have to submit applications for separate visa for your children.

From the FAQ website of the Indian Embassy:
Who requires a visa?
All foreign nationals (except nationals of Nepal and Bhutan), including children require a visa to enter India.

For Algeria for example you could just add your children on the visa application form, if they are on your passport. If you have two children the visa would show +2EX behind your first name.

So that varies from country to country and cannot be answered in general.

Everyone needs a visa, you can get it from indian embassy webisite print the form and send it to them, tyou can get a fomr from here http://www.hcilondon.org/visadown.htm and fill it in and send it off.
