Is getting a schegen visa and uk visa difficult?

I haven't applied for one yet and i just want to know from other people who have, is it difficult? what are the questions they ask, the interviewer i mean.

It would be easier to answer the question if you would add your nationalty (passport), your presently country of stay (residence document), and the area (if several consulates exist) and which country you want to travel to first or which is the one you plan your predominantly stay..
In general to say it may be easier for a citizen of Serbia or Turkey than for a national of Burkina Faso or Transnistria.
