Hi friends. i am from Afghanistan i have a invitation latter from one of my friend living in USA. can this will help me to get USA visa. and what will be the requirements of the embassy and what will they ask in interview in embassy .please answer as soon as possible . thank you

i've had a lot of friends outside the states come to school here-
whether you are looking to go to school or work you need a sponsor. Someone with some kind of credentials that will vouch for you and let them know what your plans in the states are. |

An invitation letter is just one requirement to enable you to get a US visa. Depending on your age there are many other requirements. Are you working or you are student ? Is your sponsor going to pay your return air ticket ? Who is going to accommodate you in the US ? Living in the US is very expensive. Are you going to return to Afghanistan after your visit ? Do you have ties to Afghanistan ? Like do you own land or property ? Are you married ? Do you have children ? How much money do you have in your bank account ? These are just a few of questions you should be prepared to answer when applying for the visa ? Good luck ! |
