I am a dual British nationals, and have two passports, but I don't know which passport I should use to enter UK?

Use the British passport to enter & exit the UK or any other EU member state for the simple reason it makes things less complicated with the Immigration authorities
Your British passport is irrefutable proof of your British citizenship & your right to enter the UK or to enter any other EU member state
If the other passport is for a non-EU country it can cause complications at immigration. If you enter the UK on a non-EU passport, you will treated as if you are a citizen of a non-EU country & be subject to the same Immigration control as other non-EU citizens which means you will be expected to leave at a certain point or if the other country requires a visa to enter the UK it could cause problems. The fact the passport doesn't exit could also send up red flags with security.
If the passport has expired & you haven't had time to renew then present both passports at Immigration Control and explain what's happened, they may be satisfied with proof of citizenship. |

Enter the UK with your UK passport. You are a UK citizen and are entering as one, correct? That's all that matters.
The other nation you are a citizen of will expect you to use their passport to enter their country. |

Some countries have a law that states that you must enter and leave them on that country's passport if you are one of their dual nationals - the USA and Australia do - but the UK does not. You may use either passport.
It is a good idea to use your British passport to enter and leave the UK, though. It identifies you as a local citizen, saves questions, and also saves time if your other nationality is not in the EU. There are always two queues, EU and non-EU, and the EU queue moves a lot faster. |
