I am filipina and i'm applying for a US student visa here in the US embassy in the Philippines and i think it's better that my husband and I do the interview together if it's possible and favorable to us. does anybody had a situation somewhat similar to my case? does the embassy require other requirements to bring with during interview? thanks in advance.

It shouldn't be a problem, but, you MUST first show that your proof that your husband is legally in the Philippines. Whether it is a residency card/visa or a tourist visa that is still valid, it is very important to show that you are not in violation of immigration laws of the country where you are in when applying for a visa. If it shows that your husband is undocumented in the Philippines, it is HIGHLY LIKELY that his visa will be denied. |

Um, they do look at the papers, that is part of the process. Nevertheless, if your husband has significant ties to the Philippines, which I assume he does, then he is eligible to apply at the US Embassy Manila. It makes sense, really, as I assume he will be applying for an F-2 visa to accompany you to the US on your F-1 visa. For your visa interview you should have supporting documentation to include your recent transcripts, financial statements, valid I-20, and SEVIS receipt. Your husband should also have a valid I-20, and additional financial statements would not hurt.

Llama a la embajada de EEUU y pide una entrevista, en realidad no conozco como funciona la burocracia en esa embajada, pero es probable que si tu marido es coreano pues le digan que tiene que ir a la embajadaa de corea, asi qeu mejor pidan una entrevista los dos.
pero mejor no vayas a EEUU a estudiar, venite a Argentina que la educacion es 1000 veces mejor, y no necesitas ningun requerimento burocratico.
