Is it ok not to report my marriage in philippine consulate her in the u.s?

i get married here in the u.s 3 yrs ago .But i want to renew my philippine passport in my same last name still ?Am i going to have a problem if will not report my marriage?is it ok just to renew my passport using my maiden name still ?please advice thank you

If you legally changed your name when you got married, then you need to inform the Philippine consulate and have your married name on your new passport.

However, if you did not legally change your name and just use your married name socially, then you can renew your passport under your maiden name
