No, if you already have Egyptian citizenship, then citizenship based upon place of birth (Jus Soli) does not apply in Bulgaria.

where you born there/ If you were born in the US then you can get a US passport because that is your country of citizenship. But if you came over here with your parents and where born there and have not been naturalize then yes you can because you are a Bulgaria citizen. But if you are a US citizen then you can apply for a US passport and get a vista to go over there. With all the new laws now it is always a good idea to get a passport. Plus if you really want one from Bulgaria and are a US citizen you can always move over there and denounce your citizenship and become naturalize there and the you will be able to get one of there passports.

here is the law on bulgarian nationality:
Bulgarian law recognises four ways of obtaining Bulgarian citizenship:
- any person who has at least one Bulgarian citizen as a parent is considered as being a Bulgarian citizen of origin;
- any person born of foreign parents - or of parents with no nationality or no known nationality - in the Republic of Bulgaria on a Bulgarian boat or aeroplane is considered as a citizen by birth (unless they acquire another nationality of origin).
- foreigners for whom Bulgaria has been their place of usual residence for more than five years can acquire Bulgarian citizenship â€œvia naturalisationâ€. Somebody with a foreign nationality, an unknown nationality or no nationality but who is married to a Bulgarian citizen can acquire Bulgarian citizenship without respecting the five-year minimum requirement. Children under the age of 14 can acquire Bulgarian citizenship if their parents have acquired it.
- people who have been stripped of their Bulgarian citizenship, have renounced it or who have had their naturalisation annulled can â€œrecoupâ€ their Bulgarian citizenship. This system is rarely applied.

i got married with bulgarian girl. we are living in cyprus and also working here. i am willing to know, how can i get bulgarian citizen without stay in bulgaria or how its easier to get citizen in bulgaria and how long, i will get passport from bulgaria
