I have a friend who wants to cross the U.S.A border but he doesn't have a Canadian passport, a visa, or a PR card, but he is a permenant resident of Canada witghout a PR card, he also have his landing papers and birth certificate and a Hong Kong, will the landing paper work for crossing the border?? plzzzz help!!!!! >.<

There will be 2 problems that your friend will encounter. Without a US visa, he/she will be entering the US illegally (possible deportation when caught) Without a PR card, he/she will NOT be able to re-enter Canada.
Suggestion, get a PR card. Just go to a Service Canada center for specific details. Apply for a US B1/B2 visa in the US embassy here in Canada. Good luck! |

Nope..he would be taking a HUGE chance if he left Canada without his PR card...he needs to get a replacement card before leaving the country. |

moved here to be with husband. came from us, do not have visa, only birth certificates & license. problem with getting PR card, need visa; from what i researched, cannot apply for visa when already here. canada immigration said to get landing papers, but cannot tell me how to get them-- from what i've read, can only get them when you arrive from a plane...HELP! want to start a life here but unable to get a temp resident card or even a workers permit, therefore no medical avail either...already visited hospital generated HUGE bill! what are my options? im @ a DEAD END!!! thx |
