Is it true that an Indian Citizen with a US Visa can not reenter the US within 6 mths ?

If an Indian citizen visits the US for 6 months and leaves, will he be eligible for visiting the US again within the next 6 months ?

Anybody with a multiple entry visa to US can return within any period covered by the validity.

If you apply and receive the proper visa, you may visit as often as your visa allows. If you apply for a multiple entry visa or apply for another visit visa soon after your last visit, you will need to give a plausible explanation for your frequent visits. That may be that a family member living in the US is ill, or a variety of other reasons. Essentially, you need to convince embassy staff that you are not a prospective illegal immigrant likely to overstay your visa and/or looking for work.
