Iam in USA, though she doesn't have marriage certificate my wife is attending for H4 visa, Is it necessary although my wife is included in my passport in spouse clause and my name is included in my wife's passport.
Is there any doccument instead of marriage certificate in our case?
Can my wife get marrige cerficate with out my presence?
Can anybody help me by suggesting.

If you were married there should be a copy on file
where ever you were married. It usually cost a little money
to obtain a copy. |

Google "marriage certificate" and also type in your state. Read the law, it will tell you. |

You need a marriage certificate to prove you are married, anybody could have the same last name as yours. No matter where you go, you need an official copy of your marriage certificate. I am sure she can obtain one without your presence, you just have to turn to the courthouse where your wedding took place. |
