I think a Russian girl is trying to scam me by asking money for a student visa. Even though we have been communicating for a long time, I'm not going to wire any money because I still have not met her, but I want to know if you need to go to a United States Embassy or a United States Consulate in order to get a student or work visa for the USA. I know Moscow has both of them, but Tomsk is far away from there.
I don't want to know if she is a scam or not because I already am thinking she is scamming me. I don't plan on sending money. I just want to know these things.
The other thing is she said that I must get the money to her within 7-10 days or she would never be able to apply for a visa again. She emphasized the word "never" several times. I know life in Russia is difficult for many people but I think it is wrong to scam men out of money by trying to make them fall in love for the girl. I don't feel that way about this girl because 1. I've never met her in person and 2. I always keep in the back of my head the fact that she is probably not even the person in the pictures she sends me.

Well guys I guess I am the laziest idiots css try to get money from I did not send any money to her. she gave me the same line about coming to the u s to stay with me and get a student visa and go to school here. she also ask for money for a plane ticket see claimed c s 600 but it cost 976. yes she did ask me for 376 dollars but I did not send it to her. a few days later she sends me an email that an aquantence gave her the rest of the money for her to get a plane ticket and would be coming to me in a few days. ha I guess she won't now. |
