Is there any other way I can be with my husband in Germany other than the command sponsorship?

I'm a filipina, still living in the Phils, I have a 2 yrs old daughter who is already a US citizen and has her US passport too. The only problem is me getting to Germany. My husband said he does not qualify to command sponsor us since he be going out of the army in November this year. He was medevac to Germany from Iraq last week. He will have a surgery for his spine today and he needs someone to take care of him after the surgery.
Does anyone know of any other way where I can be with him as soon possible? Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated...Thnx

what kind of visa...im torn between a tourist and a dependent visa? and if i'd be able to get a visa would i be allowed to stay in the base with him?

Without command sponsorship from the US military it's up to you to get your own visa from the German embassy in Manila. However, given his injuries I would think that some assistance would be given to assist you in getting the visa. Have you contacted the Joint US Military Assistance Group at the US embassy in Manila?

Be sure to explain that your husband is ACTIVE DUTY and has been AirVac'd to Germany from Iraq. Ask if there's assistance you get get with a German visa.

You will still be required to pay your own travel expenses if they do manage to assist you with a visa.
