Yes you can get the name of your spouse/husband removed from your passport on two conditions only, firstly if he/she has obtained decree of divorce or dissolution of marriage & move an application to the Regional Passport Office to make necessary amendment regarding this in your passport by furnishing a certified copy of such decree of divorce of dissolution of marriage. Secondly if your Spouse/Husband has expired then you can do so by furnishing a certified copy of his death certificate to the RPO. In both the cases the necessary amendment will be made on the prescribed fee to be paid by you. There is no other way to get the name of the Spouse/husband removed from your passport once it got added by you after your marriage.

You cannot change anything on your passport. If you try to you may (and i am sure will) be denied entry to at least all western countries where passport checking is obviously more rigorous.

If you need any changes to your details contact your passport office in your country or your embassy and they can issue you with an updated passport and obviously there will be a charge involved.

yOUR QUESTION SEEMS TO BE MORE OUT OF DESPERATION.PRESUMING THAT THE RELATIONS BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND ARE ON EVEN KNEEL,THE BEST WAY TO DO IT IS CHANGE YOUR NAME,THEN DIVORCE,THEN APPLY FOR NEW PASSPORT.

IF YOU DESTROY YOUR OLD PASSPORT AND APPLY FOR A NEW ONE, CLAIMING THEREIN THAT YOU ARE UNMARRIED,YOU WOUKLD BE COMMITTING PERJURY,WHICH IS A SERIOUS OFFENCE. ALSO IF YOUR HUSBAND GETS WIND OF IT HE CAN COMPLAIN OF IT TI THE OASSPORT AUTHORITIES,AND YOU CAN BE IN SERIOUS TROUBLE,EVEN LEADING TO YOUR NEW PASSPORT BEING IMPOUNDED.
