That guy is the one of the kings of the Neo Cons & anything that gets a Neo con out of any kind of political power is a VERY good thing. Their policy of trying to shove democracy down the throats of any country they wish has done more damage to US foreign policy than any time in history. |

in the long run it's probably a good thing that these guys are jumping ship
but in the short run it's very bad for america because it means you lost the war. all the warmongers are being dismissed and replaced with peacemakers because america can't win the war, and needs to "sue for peace" as it is called.
basically you have to find a solution to end the war, without having to actually win it, which you can no longer do, but without surrendering, which you don't want to do either. |
