K-1 Visa and proof of income; how long must I have held my job for?

I am only 21 and have been with my fiance for FIVE years. We fully plan on getting married as soon as we meet all of the requirements for the K-1 visa, and slowly but surely these are all being met.
My question is, I graduated college in June and just 2 months ago found a job making $680 a week, which over the course of a year, would meet the poverty line requirements (and is HUGE money in the area where I'm from in a town of 400 people).
My question is, how many more months, if not years, do we still have to wait to apply for the K-1 visa now that I have finally met the last requirement, making enough to support me and him?
