Korean passport?

My friend's korean passport is about to expire. He's here as a F1. Is there a way to renew his korean passport without leaving the US?

+ Yes he needs to get in touch with the Korean Embassy and ask if he can do it via mail. If he goes in person he might be able to have it done on the spot. For whatever the current fee is.

have your friend contact the korean embassy and they should be able to help

your friend will have to contact the Korean Embassy in the US ,you did not mention which city he is living ?
