Legal Rights?

This is the situation, my boyfriend is renting a room and is getting evacuated. The reason he is being evacuated is because they claim that I live with him which I do not live with him. I do however sleep over once in awhile. Which from my understanding is that I would have to sleep there for 30 days straight in order to be called living there. I just want to know do they have a right to evacuate him because of this. Please include resources. Thank You

Find a lawyer if you really want to fight this. Otherwise, he should just find a new place to live.

It depends upon the conditions of the lease. Your boyfriend needs to read his lease and look for the policy for overnight guests.

Im not completely sure but my dad has a couple of houses that he rents out and before he rents a house out he makes it clear that if they are going to have someone spend the night for more then a couple of days that they call him first.

Thats Illegal they ARE REQUIRED BY US LAW to go through the court [The landlord[s]]
They cant simply evict you my position would be to sue them and get some money. And teach him a lesson!!!!!
