Lost passport with dependent visa?

hi there ,, royal mail lost my passport and my uk dependent visa.. what should i do..? em i going to get another visa.??

See if you can chase it up with Royal Mail (call them up and see if there were any tracking done on it (if it was registered post they should have it on record)). If it was tracked and they should be able to locate it, if not see if you can get a written apology from them, take that to the police station and report your passport as lost/stolen (which you will most likely need especially if the embassy tries to bill you for the lost passport), then apply for a new passport with the embassy and then apply for a replacement visa.
