Can someone please help me and tell me how to marry my uk citizen boyfriend. I am a US citizen. he is coming in a few months and we want to do it here in the US and then I want to go live with him in the UK in January, is this possible?? What are the steps we need to do and how long does it take? Please help, I'd appreciate it, thanks.

He needs to have a Visa to come here, and then you will have to get a marriage license and get the marriage done while he is here - he will probably only get a one to three month visa, so plan everything ahead.
Then you will need a UK visa - to whatever country you are going to. Once there you will need to apply to stay there or to become naturalized or whatever their rules are - here you have to apply to be a permanent resident, then you have to apply to be a citizen like 3 years later. If you want citizenship.
Make sure you look up on the internet for their country what they require, and make sure you stay on top of your paperwork. If you fail to file things properly and in the right time frame, they will deport you, just like here.

I would look on their immigration web page for that country - just google it - or get an immigration lawyer once you get there and way before your visa expires. That's what we did here because the paperwork was so confusing and you had to mail this form to Iowa, but his form to New York.... this fee with this form, that fee with that form. It made it much easier to have someone who files these all the time to help us.
