Model UN help!! i really need helppp?

I'm representing Chile in a stem cell research debate. I need to find out whether stem cell research is allowed and supported by Chile but I've been looking everywhere... Some sites say it's banned, and other say there are no specific restrictions against stem cell research. So what do you think??

[by the way, it's a south american country so I was thinking maybe it's against since it's mostly catholic]

I suggest you get hold of the Chilean Embassy and ask what is Chile's official policy on stem cell research.
