My 10 yr old son has an interview at US embassy do they ask questions directly to the child?

I am here in the US and my mom will accompany my son. I just wonder if they will ask my son or my mom? Sample questions please....

They'll be much more interested in your status in the US and proof that he is indeed your child. It's not likely they'll ask him any serious direct questions other than a couple to be polite and friendly.
