My Passport is misplaced......!!!!?

What should I do?

if Ur passport is miss placed and u r an Indian then immediately report to nearest Police Station.
If u r a foreigner then report to embassy.
passport office will cancel your previous passport and will surely give u a new one by taking some fees about 2000 rs.

IS THERE ANY VISA STAMPED ON THE PASSPORT...?
IF YES REPORT IT IMMEDIATELY TO THE NEAREST POLICE STATION AND CONTACT THE AUTHORITIES IN THE COUNTRY WHO STAMPED THE VISA.........THERE IS CHANCES OF MIS-USAGE PARTICULARLY WHEN THE TERRORISTS ARE AROUND....BEWARE .......

Immediate, lodge an F.I.R. and apply for another one. Difficult to foresee how the misuser does it for.

if you cannot find your passport ? please report it to the authorities immediatly ,
keep the receipt and reapply for a new one
if you do not report it ?it may be missused by another person and against you .

If your passport is misplaced, immediately look for it. If you cannot find it in your surrounding areas, then go to an embassy. The embassy will give you a new one with a more cost because you lost it. It is very important not to lose your passport. It would be about 2,600 rupees.
