plz tell me wat document i should have to submit in lieu of birth certificate to US embassy, due to different dates in B.C and passport , My B.C has date 14-12-1980 although my Passport has date 14-09-1980, plce of birth is same in both. i m going to apply for spouse VISA for U.S
Additional Details
The Municiple Authority refused to correct the B.C, My Passport is 7 years old.my birthplace is in other city,The same city mentioned in the passport.

Which birthdate is accurate though? If it's the one on your birth certificate then go to or contact your country's consulate in your area and tell them what the problem was. You cannot change your birthcertificate but you can change the incorrect information in your passport. How were you able to come in when your documents weren't accurate in the first place? The consulate will tell you if you can apply for another passport or renew your passport with the correct birthdate information.
