I am a South African citizen, living in the UK. Both my children have British passports. Do they need visas to visit SouthAfrica.

I believe S. A. government allows British passport holders to enter into the country without prior visa for few months. Visa will be granted at the airport. But I would check, if I were you, with the nearest South African Embassy/High commission.

yes they do. on your flight b4 you ear goinig to land in sa. they will bring round visa apps to fill in and hand in at security sa side

As a British Passport holder you do not require a visa for South Africa

They most possiby don't need visas for SA since they are British nationals. You just have to make sure that they have return tickets, to prove that they will be leaving SA within 90 days.

No, they don't need to apply for visas. They simply need to fill out disembarkment forms for foreigners when they land in South Africa (these are handed out on the flight and are available before you get to passport control).
