and how do i apply for a usa visa to travel with him soon after marriage.does he need to apply the visa for me from usa,then what are the documents i must send to the usa to apply for visa from there .iam an indain (mumbai),my fiancee, is from usa .. are marriage is through internet meetings ..and plan to get marrried soon ,,but my fiance, has only 3 weeks of holiday from usa ..is it possible for a civil marraige then ...and then how does the visa processing can be done at the earliest ..form india or from USA,if so what are the documents i need to send to the usa if its done from there ,,and how fast can i accquire it.

If India gets the same treatment as Brazil, you won't be able to travel soon after marrying him in India. My wife is from Brazil and we have friends who are American/Brazilian couples.
Our friends got married in Brazil and went to the US Embassy to process the paperwork. It ended up taking nearly a year for his wife to join him in the US.
On the other hand, I applied for a fiance visa (for my wife to come to the US as my fiance). She received the visa 5 months later, and came to the US a month after that. We were required to get married within 3 months or she would have to go back home. We had a civil ceremony the day she arrived in my city, then immediately filed for an adjustment of status (to change her from my fiance to the wife of a US citizen) and advance parole (to allow her to leave the country and plan our church wedding in Brazil, she couldn't leave the US without this while the adjustment of status was in process). The advance parole was approved in 3 months and she flew back to plan our church wedding. After our wedding in brazil and honeymoon, we were able to come back to the US together. Our friends still had to wait 5 more months until they could be together again.....
