My husband filed my k3 visa last month?

based on our estimate, it might be approved end of this year 2008. however, i might need to go with my husband to the usa before that, maybe in june , is it possible to get a tourist visa for me while my k3 or spousal visa is pending?

from personal experience in 2006 i married in china and working as a helicopter pilot i sponsored my wife I130 and was approved few months later i needed to return back to USA for emergency surgery my wife and attorney friend went to the us consulate and applied for non immigrant visitor she was denied turned around and filed under humanitarian reason it to was turned down she wasted the appointment fees take you chances but will be downned

you can try and apply... but you'll have a harder time convincing the consul that you are not using it as an excuse to stay in the US while waiting for the k3 visa to get processed.

a lot of people abuse the whole process. you might not doing it yourself, but as a precaution, as long as you have an immigrant visa pending, they usually just deny your application for a non-immigrant visa.


Pretty
is better to wait till they schedule you for appointment and give you immigrant visa other than looking for a short cut which I believe is not going to be possible. Good luck
