It depends on your status when he was born. If he was born in the UK and his parents held British Citizenship or Indefinate Leave to Remain he is British by birth. If not, he takes on your nationality.

No. British citizenship is by jus sanguis (Latin for â€œright of bloodâ€). You inherit it from your parents. Being born there gets you nothing.

I believe so, he should be entitled to permanent status as a duel citizen and then can receive a UK passport. Most of Europe allows duel citizenship.
