My name is Muhammad shahzad i live in pakistan.
my wife is polish but settled in UK since 2003.she came to pakistan and married with me.
i apply for my settlemtn visa of uk as a husband of EEA wife.
but my visa if refused because i could not submitt our Marriage certificate in English Translation.
it is main reason ECO refused my visa.
now i have translate our marriage certificate in enlish and also attested from Ministry of foriegn Afairs Pakistan. now i want to get advice that what should i do now ?
fresh apply for visa or appeal agains decision of refusal?.
also pleas some one tell me my wife's bank statment is 5 months old if i fresh apply for visa do i need new and fresh bank statment or old one is ok ?
and i want to know if apply for appeal again decision how long it will take time for decision and will i get my visa or not ?
i have my cosin in UK she is Lawyer in UK what she can do for me ?

You can only appeal if the original information was correct and
then assessment was not correct (they did not read or use it correctly).
You did not follow the rules, and forgot or did not realise that it all had to be in english.
You need to apply again, with 100% correct and 100% recent information.
Read the rules.. it says '6 months recent bank statments' etc.
If the only reason the 1st application was refused, was because there was no official/approved translation.. then I expect it should be OK this time.
Lawyers in the UK will not help the assesment (UKBA is only interested in the application)
BUT as a lawyer, they may be better at checking documents and forms..
so they could check/work with you to make sure you do not make another mistake. |

It says on all the forms a certified translation of all certificates.
You can't appeal because you failed to give the correct information in the correct format.
Looks like you will have to apply again, with all required information in accordance to the date of your new application. |
