Is she oversea ? or in the States...Had the same problem with my wife when living in Central America...Immigration gave her a quick date...but the Embassy said it would take 6-8 months for the Interview...What I did was called my State Senator (his rep.) and explained the situation...While they could not promise or force the Embassy to act...He did tell me there was a certain protocol between the Senator's office and Embassies...Two days later she had her Visa...Would Recommend the same thing...The delay comes from the numbers of people applying for Visas...Good Luck

No, this will in no way cause a delay for your wife.

I just went through all this last year (well the last 5 years really), and know that they can't stop or postpone a visa due to pregnancy.

i think once the kid comes out... shes is a legal resident because the govt cant seperate the child and the parents
